The isMobile Challenge is about inspiring young people to work with information technology although we at isMobile always end up inspired by the student`s creativity. Every year, we award a scholarship of SEK 10,000 for the best 3rd year student project within the field of information and media technology at Luleå Upper Secondary School. This year, the winner is Fabian Kaplan and his work with a Content Management System.
isMobile Challenge is an annual event and a collaboration between us and the Technology Program at Luleå Upper Secondary School.
This year, Fabian Kaplan was declared the winner of isMobile Challenge 2022 with his work including the idea, design, and programming of a Content Management System.
– We have had the pleasure to take part in many good projects and Fabian, who is the winner of 2022, has really been committed and delivered according to plan during the whole project at the same time as he used and challenged the knowledge they gained at school. His work also required that he had to learn a new programming language, C #. This is exactly what we want to see in our own work at isMobile; that we deliver according to plan while we challenge previous work by doing an extra effort, says Peter Jonsson who is responsible for the scholarship isMobile Challenge.
In addition to arranging the isMobile Challenge for 3rd-year students, isMobile also hosts programming lessons for students in second grade and in the coming year we hope to once again be able to invite teachers and students to visit our office in Luleå.
– We really appreciate our collaboration with schools and students. There is a lot of innovation and creativity that bodes well for the future. We hope that through our collaboration we can inspire more young people to discover the opportunities that technology creates and that more youths will choose to work with technology-driven development, says Mikael Bäckman, CEO of isMobile AB.
