Organisations need to act on several parameters in parallel, such as peak workloads, coordination of subcontractor activities with different SLAs, compliance with safety regulations and value creation in a changing market arena.

To keep up with the speed of change and to be able to collect data and analyse the actual work, a Case and Work Order Management System needs to be adaptable to co-existing systems, flexible and intuitive. In the second article in this series, we talked about the importance of a coordinating game plan. Now we want to highlight what makes it possible.

Ease of integration and built-in flexibility

Ease of integration to existing system landscapes where CRM, ERP and Asset Management systems often are central is of great importance. The case and work order management product coordinates the flow of information between all connected systems and can easily serve as a complement to previous system investments.

By a low code platform, flexibility is built-in to manage specific business needs and ongoing changes in the organisation without time-consuming coding. A low code platform accelerates implementations and enables continuous development of business processes and service offerings. It is easy to add, remove or change report forms, checklists, and validations to support new ways of working. Such updated configurations can be uploaded in real-time to the application under operation.

Factful insights from real-time data

When systems are connected, and the work has started it is all about using the data reported to control the progress and to make factful decisions for the future. If the Case- and Work Order Management System is designed to collect and use real-time information directly when generated from several sources, both internal and external, updated data will contribute to instant control of orders, contracts, subcontractors, and ongoing cases. The insights generated from this information can serve as the foundation to optimise the business, create new market value and improved customer experience.

Using a dashboard tool built by widget templates, the most important information about the business can be displayed on one page to maximize the overview. The widget templates make it very easy to define KPIs, customise and arrange the information to share within the organization. Just add, change, and remove as the business changes.

We have improved our product to further support our customers' business in changing market conditions and made it even easier to make smarter data-driven decisions throughout the case and work order, from case registration to invoice documentation and business analysis, says Annika Broström, Product Manager.

We are happy to assist if you would like to know how a case and work order management system can help your business thrive in constant change and make decisions based on actual business conditions.

The coming fourth article in the series will focus on how to enable powerful field service management.
