You build systems – but solutions you build together with people

As isMobile celebrates its 25th anniversary, what comes to mind first? "The people! It's easy to talk about technology, but for us it's always been about the people we've worked with – project managers, field technicians and operations managers. It is together with them that we have understood the challenges and built what actually works.

What has been crucial for your journey? 

– It´s that we have never built anything in a vacuum. For over 25 years, we have worked closely with energy companies and service-oriented businesses, in real projects – from large-scale meter rollout projects to ongoing operation and maintenance. We have sat close to the business, seen what is happening in practice and built our solutions from there.

What distinguishes you from other actors?

– That we have experience of how businesses actually work, through people. Not just processes and technology, but how the work is done every day in, for example, the energy sector and field service – and what really creates value.

What do you take with you going forward?

– A way of working. We continue to develop together with our customers. And we are now seeing how the same way of working creates value in more businesses – not least in municipal operation and maintenance.

What does 25 years mean to you personally?

– That we have been entrusted to work with many competent people for a long time. It's what has shaped us – and what we're building on.
